Career Day

EC will invite alumni and corporate community partners to provide a full school day of career exploration for all students, including presentations, demonstrations, and Q&A sessions. 

Zoom into your Future! - Lunch & Learn

Elyria Catholic has partnered with a global company to provide Zoom presentations with professionals in a variety of disciplines. Sessions will be hosted during lunch periods and are planned for the spring months.

Professional Panel Presentations

EC will assemble panels of alumni and corporate partners to share their experiences in specialized fields and answer students' questions. These events will be hosted in the evening and open to the EC community.

Career Treks

Career Treks, an innovative career development program, are career exploration experiences that bring small groups of students to meet face-to-face with potential employers. Career Treks are week long summer experiences that offer students valuable opportunities to learn about companies, industries, and careers in a personal setting, hosted at employers' sites. Students will spend four work days immersed in the operations of multiple businesses. Students will return to EC for a workshop to reflect on those experiences. Career Treks help students clarify career goals, develop confidence in networking situations, and identify steps to secure a career in a field of interest. 

Informational Interviews, Shadow Days, and Summer Internships

Students seeking more in-depth, personalized experiences, will be paired with a corporate partner or an alum for an informational interview, shadow day or internship. Students will be given regular opportunities to meet with EXP³ staff to arrange these experiences.
